Place the measuring tape on the waistband of a pair of jeans.

Waist

Measure around the smallest part of your waist, keeping the tape slightly loose.

Place the measuring tape on the hips of a pair of jeans.

Hips

With feet together, measure around the fullest part of your hips.

Place the measuring tape from the top of the waistband to the bottom of the crotch seam on a pair of jeans.

Rise

Measure from the top of the waistband to the bottom of the crotch seam.

Place the measuring tape from the crotch seam to the hem on a pair of jeans.

Inseam

Measure along the inside of your leg, from the crotch seam to the hem.

Place the measuring tape at the cuff of a pair of jeans.

Leg Opening

The leg opening shows how wide or narrow the pant hem is.

Place the measuring tape on the waistband of a pair of jeans.

Measure around the smallest part of your waist, keeping the tape slightly loose.

Place the measuring tape on the hips of a pair of jeans.
